Dear Permitting Department:
We are submitting for the Fred Meyer ClickList project. This remodel is within existing Fred Meyer Store
located at 11565 SW Pacific Hwy,Tigard 97223.
The ClickList area is an employee only area where they receive the online orders for groceries from the
customer. The employees then go into the store and load the grocery order into the totes and wheel it back into
the ClickList area where refrigerated items are then stored in the reach-in cooler or reach-in freezer and the dry
goods are placed on a wooden pallet.When the customer arrives to receive their order the employee loads the
rolling cart with the order and then takes it out to the customer's car and loads the order into the car.
New walls are being built to create the staging area for the customer orders and new reach-in cooler(s)and
reach-in freezer(s). We are installing(2)new split systems. Each new unit weighs approximately 163 pounds
and is located on the roof. Lighting is being adjusted to the new layout. Complete mechanical and electrical
plans are being submitted.
In the parking lot we are restriping a small area to create designated ClickList Parking spaces. To use the
ClickList service the customer never leaves their car so ADA spaces are not required. Directional signs are
being placed in the parking lot.
This Fred Meyer location underwent recent remodels. ADA upgrades and accessibility have been taken care of
during these previous remodels.
We are looking for building,mechanical and electrical permits.
