Minutes from NPO #3 meeting Wednesday, May 2, 1990
Meeting called to order 7:12 p.m. Present Porter, Froude, Smith
excused Hansen. Minutes from previous meeting approved.
John Acker from the City of Tigard was present and we reviewed in
detail the document "Periodic Review". We went over the entire
document and expect a return visit from Mr. Acker when these items
are scheduled for public hearings.
We discussed site development review SDR 90-0004 Planned Development
PD 90-0002, Triad Development Co. a proposal for 364 unit apartment
complex on a 27.2 acre parcel on SW Pacific Hwy. , SW Naeve Rd. and
SW 109th. A motion was made that we recommend that the application
is inadequate in addressing transportation issues. A signal on
Pacific Hwy. would be required and it would be best located at Beef
Bend Road. This is feasible because the adjoining property owner
is willing to cooperate. Recommend that all planned through streets
be developed and not dead ended. Carries unanimously.
Under other business - a motion was made that we request that we be
provided all other NPO agendas - carried unanimously
A motion was made that major points on NP03 ' s agenda be published in
City Scape when possible. Carried unanimously.
Nancy Smith with establish a NPO 3 mailing list. We request that
our agenda be mailed to everyone on the NPO 3 mailing list. Request
the minutes be mailed as well. This was amotion and was passed
unanimously.
A motion that the City of Tigard arrange for an interview of Robert Root
for membership as soon as possible. Carried unanimously.
