NPO #3 - REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 7, 1983 - 7:08 P.M.
1. ROLL CALL: Present: Mortenson, Bledsoe, Horowitz, Porter and Moonier.
Fyre and Ramsdell were excused.
2. Minutes of meetings on January 9, and January 23, were read and approved.
3. Alan Horowitz, reviewed the Washington County Housing Authority actions
regarding Grant Court. The NPO approved the following resolution:
NPO #3 opposes the concent rated location of publicly assisted
housing (4out of 10) on Grant Court. Also NPO #3 opposes the
apparent practice of building houses significantly less valved than
the surrounding neighborhood, and archetecturally incompatable with
the existing houses in the neighborhood.
4. The NPO reviewed some of the Community Development Code, but did not pass
any resolutions concerning it. The NPO wishes to ask for one copy of the
modified versions of the Planning Commission study committee, and any
others that are available to the planning staff.
5. NPO #3 reviewed 11.3 Special Areas of Concern - NPO #3, and approved the
changes marked by Jeremy Coursolle; and in return hopes that staff will
approve adding one word: in Implementation Strategy #1 add "major" before
intersections.
6. Next meeting will be on February 21, 1983.
