SUBJECT: NPO #7 Meeting
I've had conversations with several of you over the past few weeks regarding
NPO #7 and its meeting schedule. As I've told some of you, NPO #7 at this
time does not have a regular meeting day of every month, as do most of the
other NPO's, however, meets on an as needed basis.
With the end of 1987, we have been contacting members of all of our boards and
committees to assure that individuals whose terms expired December 31, 1987
wish to continue participating on their committee. In going through this
process, we became aware that Dick Boberg has many other demands on his time
right now and is unable to continue serving as Chair to NPO #7 and also unable
even to participate on the committee.
I'm suggesting that NPO #7 meet. Several new appointments have been made to
the NPO in the last two months, and these new members would like to learn more
about participating in an NPO. Several developments are being planned which
will have an impact in NPO #7, and with Dick's resignation, we' ll need to
address where the NPO goes from here and if the NPO wants to meet on an as
needed basis or select a regular meeting time.
Therefore, the next NPO #7 meeting will be:
Wednesday, January 20, 1988
7:30 PM at the Tigard Civic Center
The agenda will address:
o Introductions and background
o Where do we go from here? (Regular meeting day and time)
o Chairperson?
o Review of Summerlake (several related developments)
Staff, Keith Liden and Jill Monley will be present.
