Attendees:
Don Palmer, Wayne Lowry, Nadine Robinson, Alice Carrick, Sherrie Burbank,

1 . Discussion of article in American City and County on local government
computer usage. One item of interest was a section that described the
City of Greshams use of electronic mail. Marcha and Sherrie will visit
the City of Gresham, prior to the next committee meeting, to observe it' s
use and report back.
2. Discussion on IBM compatibility. Concerns are being raised that the large
number of IBM compatible software products on the market will not operate
on the B20 and B1900 systems . Wayne and Randy will meet with
representative of IBM to see what is involved.
3. Work Programs . Final revisions to work programs are due to Randy by the
end of Friday 7/31/87. Final copies to be distributed prior to next
committee meeting.
4. Monthly Reporting Systems, by the committee, on computer implementation,
usage and productivity. Each member of the committee is to be prepared to
illustrate how reporting might work best for their Division/Section at the
next meeting. Members are also encouraged to find out how other
organizations are reporting on their computer systems.
5. DMS Reporting. Wayne, Don and Alice to work with IPM on DMS reporting and
update committee at next meeting.
