Index/Historical Info Folder
1. Click on the Laserfiche icon (either on your desktop or in the start menu
under All Programs).
2. Open the "CityOfTigard" repository; noting --
the Use Windows Authentication box is
checked.
3. Locate and click on the magnifying glass and the viewer pane in the left
hand side of the tool bar at the top of your screen.

4. Click on "Customize Search" on the left top portion of the screen. Select
"Basic" and "Within Folder" from the list and "Close".

6. IN the "Basic Search box write a keyword associated with the record you are
trying to locate. Click on "Search". (NOTE: The search function will locate
individual words faster and easier than a whole address or phrase.) For
example if you want to find records relating to 13125 Hall Blvd you would
enter 13125 or Hall. Use the following format if you want to search using a
parcel number: 2S1 2DB 6500

7. In this example, 13125 was searched. The picture shows that Laserfiche
found the address number 30 times in the Clerks database. Context Hits
contains the results of the search. The number of entries found are identified
on the bottom left. The Viewer pane is located on the right hand side. Click
once on a result to see it in the viewer screen and twice to open the index to
the specific page.
