This bulletin provides response to RFI, design clarifications and/or variation requests for the `River
Terrace SF' project located in Tigard, Oregon.
All exterior pony walls shall be sheathed and nailed the same as the standard height walls directly
above (P6, P4, etc.). For shearwalls that have holdowns, replace STHD holdown shown on main
floor shear plans with an MST37 strap (attached to interior or exterior face of wall studs) and install
STHD holdown at the base of the pony wall to the foundation directly underneath/aligned with the
MST37 strap. The MST37 strap and STHD holdown shall be attached to the same set of bundled
studs in the pony wall.
