Per our conversation earlier this morning,the sewer permit is required when additional plumbing fixtures are added to a commercial property that increases the sanitary sewer discharge to the Clean Water Services sewer system. As you can see on the sewer tally worksheet, each plumbing fixture is assessed a fixture count. One (1) EDU (equivalent dwelling unit) = 16 fixture values and the current rate for(1) EDU is$5,300.00. This sewer system development charge is typically paid by the property owner, landlord or tenant, and must be paid in full before we can issue the plumbing permit. Both the plumbing and sewer permit fees can be paid online through our website by searching for the permit numbers: PLM2017-00249=$112.08 SWR2017-00210=$6,307.00 Here is a link to our online payment screen: https://aca.accela.com/tigard/ When you are on this page, click on the Building tab and enter the permit number in the Record Number field under General Search. The permit record number page will be displayed. From there,click on the Payments tab, and then click on Fees to display a list of fees due. Click on the blue link to Pay Fees next to the fees listed under the Outstanding list of fees. Review the list of fees and click on Continue Application to the page where you will enter credit card information. You can pay the plumbing permit fees before the sewer permit fees are paid. Please let us know when both of these permits have been paid and we will issue and email the permits to you. I will put your original check for payment in the mail to you today in the prepaid envelope that you provided as the check included plan review fees that we do not collect on this type of permit. Please let me know if you need any assistance with paying the fees online or have any other questions. Please note our office is open Monday-Thursday for permit processing, we are closed on Fridays.
