ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
Tuesday, April 16, 1991
MEMBERS PRESENT: John Savory, Paul Etchemendy, Amo DeBernardis,
Tony Orlandini, Brian Moore, Ron Pulliam
OTHERS PRESENT: Iry Larson, Liz Newton, John Acker
The meeting started at 7:30 a.m. and the minutes of the November
meeting were approved as revised.
Current development activity was identified. Commercial and
industrial activity has been slow. The Lincoln 8 building has
received planning approval but has yet to apply for building
permits.
The Main Street Bridge will be going out for bid in the near future
with the project to be complete by the end of the summer. Access
to the downtown area will be maintained throughout the construction
period.
In addition to the bridge, it is planned for the pathway in Fanno
Creek Park to be connected from Hall Blvd. to Main Street this
summer. The City has purchased property and staff is negotiating
for easements that are needed for this to happen.
The meeting adjourned at 9:00.
