Lot 211-215-Structural fill evaluation

I arrived on site as arranged by Sam with Polygon Homes. The purpose of my site visit was to evaluate structural fill
for the patio footings for lot#211-215 as indicated on the attached site plan.
Upon arrival I observed earthworkcrew had completed placing 8-1 Oft of fill along the east,side of building 13. The
structural fill consisted of 1 W drain rock. Using a%-inch diameter steel foundation probe,,l evaluated the relative
consistency of the fill. Based on probing,the subgrade appears medium dense to dense at the surface.
Sam Indicated that the drain rock had been placed in 24"lifts and compacted with a jumping Jack. This is
acceptable to GeoDesign. Sam indicated there would be 2ft by 2ft footings and a 4"slab poured. We recommend
that fabric and a skiff of 1"-0 crushed rock be placed'and well keyed to provide a firm base for the concrete pour.
Sam indicated that this recommendation would be followed.
Based on observation and probing, it is our opinion that the lots 211-215 patio footing structural fill where observed
today has been prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
