TIGARD SITE DEVELOPMENT AND ARCHITECT DESIGN REVIEW BOARD
May 2, 1978

1 . Call to Order :
The meeting was called to order at 6 :00 P .M. by
Chairman McMonagle .
2 . Roll Call :
Present : Cook , McMonagle , Olson , Corliss
Absent : Hammes
3. Communication :
None
4 . Minutes :
Olson moved and Corliss seconded to approve the minutes
of the April 25 , 1978 meeting . The motion was approved
by unanimous voice vote .
Cook moved and Olson seconded to approve the minutes of
the February 28th meeting. The motion was approved by
unanimous voice vote .
5 . Design Review:
5. 1 SDR 2-78 Hunziker Industrial Park
A request for review of a conceptual landscape
plan for an 84 , 000 square foot building.
A. Site Review:
1 . Staff Report :
Read by Edwards . Staff submitted a letter
from the applicant .
2 . Applicant ' s Presentation :
Hal Beighly, Landscape Architect outlined
the landscape theme for the site and stated
that an automatic sprinkler system would
serve the site.
3 . Board Discussion :
4 , The Board discussed staff conditions
particularly number 1 , and discussed the
need for a 40 foot buffer .

Staff informed the Board that the
applicant could apply to amend his
approved site plan , if at a later date
increased parking was necessary.
McMonagle stated that 6-8 specimen size
trees should be specified for the
planting along S .W. Hunziker.
Cook moved and Olson seconded to approve
the plan as submitted with staff condition
number 1 , 2 , 5 & 6 , condition number 3 be
deleted and number 4 be amended to read,
"that trees be included in the hedge planting. "
The motion was approved by unanimous voice
vote.
6 . There being no other business the meeting was adjourned
at 7: 00 P.M.
