1. CALL TO ORDER: 5:35 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: Present: Cook, McMonagle, Hammes, Wakem
3. MINUTES: Not approved due to lack of sufficient time to study
them.
4. COMMUNICATIONS: None
5. DESIGN REVIEW
5.1 SDR 29-75 (Meldren Anderson/Stationery Store)
Site Design
A. Staff Report: read by Powell; slides of site and
existing buildings were shown.
B. Applicant Presentation
o Chairman McMonagle asked that the applicant
explain the site plan.
o Charlotte Olson, designer, described the site
improvements and landscaping.
o Mr. Sutton, real estate salesman for Joe Chamberlain,
spoke for Fahey Machinery, stating that they used
both loading doors and that they had one more year
on their lease and that they would not stay if the
"driveway" adjacent their building were interfered
with.
C. Board Discussion and Action
o Discussion considered the points raised by staff
in staff report.
o Motion for approval (Cook) with conditions that:
1. Landscaping adjacent rear property lines and
in "island" areas per code.
2. Paved parking in rear with curbs and storm
drainage catchment.
3. Obtain and record easement for rear access.
4. Pavement arrows be used to indicate traffic
flow in parking areas.

Design Review Board approval of the sign.
