1. Call to Order : 5:15 P.M.
2. Roll Call
Members Present : Edin, McMonagle, Wakem, Bartel
Alternates Present : Mann, Whittaker
Staff Present : Bolen, Powell
3. Approval of Minutes :
Deferred to next regular meeting
4. Site Development Plan Review
R . A. Gray , Tigard Industrial Park Phase Iv was withdrawn
by applicant
5. Other Business
a. Board asked that immediate attention be given to official
appointment of Mr. Wakem by Council.
b. McMonagle asked that staff reports or "lead sheets"
be furnished the board several days in advance-board
concurred
C. It was brought up that a problem seems to be that many
people don ' t know that there is a Design Review Board.
Staff requested to prepare a pamphlet or check list
to be furnished interested public and particularly
prospective applicants detailing design criteria and
submission requirements.
d. Staff requested to get copy of ordinance out to board
members.
e. Design Review Board concensus that Planning Commission ought
to stay in area of land use determination and leave site
design to Design Review Board. Planning Commission might
consider attaching performance criteria as conditions of
their approval rather than specifying design.
f. Washington County ' s info packet and administrative
approach was cited as a good model to follow in setting up our
system.
g. Staff asked to review timing of meetings and evaluate
alternatives such as Design Review Board consideration
before Planning Commission
