Purpose: Observe lot 23 subgrade
Outstanding Issues:
Upon arrival I met with the earthwork contractor(Frank Excavating). I was taken to lot 23 where earthwork crews
had prepared footing subgrade. Contractor had placed approx. 2"to 3"of recycled concrete on the surface of
structural fill subgrade. Compaction efforts were done utilizing a walk behind diesel plate. Using a Y2"diameter steel
foundation rod I probed the footing subgrade through the base rock. Probing indicated stiff to medium stiff
subgrade.
Based on our observations and probing the subgrade for lot 23 indicated on attached site plan has been prepared in
general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
