Director of Public Works
Subject PUBLIC HEARING: Vacation No. 180 (S.W. Mapleleaf Street)
The subject vacation was initiated on.April 17, 1978, by the filing of a
Petition as required by ORS 271.020 (1) . The normal procedure for
dedicated street vacations was than begun, and our findings relative to the
subject vacation are as follows:
1) A valid petition meeting all requirements set forth in
ORS 271.020(1) has been received.
s
2) The proposed vacation consists of a portion of S.W. Mapleleaf
Street, dedicated to the public by "Metzger Acre Tracts",
in Section 35, T1S, R1W, W.M. (see attached wap) _
3) The petition was circulated to all concerned county
T departments and utility companies, and all responses indicate
approval, providing a pedestrian easement is reserved along
the center of the street.
4) The street proposed to be vacated is a dedicated street
lying within the unincorporated area of the county.
RECOMMENDATION: Your Board, based.on the above findings, adopt th
prepared Resolution and
Ord vacating the subjeci7 portion
of S.W. Mapleleaf Street, reserving the middle 10 -feet
of said street for pedestrian use, at the close Of the
Public Hearing.
