It is our understanding that the planned structures will consist of single-family residences utilizing conventional spread footings. At the time of our site visit, the foundation excavation for Lots 3 and 4 was complete and extended 1.5 to 4 feet below the surrounding grade. The foundation bearing soils consisted of native silt soils, which were evaluated with a%-inch soil probe. Probing efforts indicated stiff soil consistency at each lot. The layout of Lots 3 and 4 slope to the north, and the footing plan includes several short steps. Footing-to-slope setbacks were evaluated and determined to be adequate. Footing-to-wall setbacks were not an issue. Based on observed conditions, foundation subgrade soils as prepared are considered suitable to support the anticipated allowable bearing pressures. 4 ter .
