Project summary
We are removing the existing,small(5'x5')bathroom,and repurposing the"office"as a new bathroom,and the bedroom adjacent to it as a
walk-in closet. We are not structurally changing the house in any way. We are not moving any load-bearing walls,or adding any square
footage to the house. In the pages that follow,we show the new layout after the remodel is finished,as well as the walls that are being
removed and the walls being added.
The existing windows are tempered glass,and appropriate for egress. We are removing 3 windows,the windows that remain are already
egress-appropriate.
We will add insulation in the floor and in the ceiling to bring the area up to code(there currently isn't enough insulation in this area of the
house).
