Upon arrival I met with Tom (via phone) and was directed to areas indicated on attached site plan of prepared
footing subgrade for lot 121. 1 observed that earthwork crew had placed and compacted approx. 1"to 3"of 3/"
minus crushed rock on the surface of native subgrade utilizing a small walk behind plate compactor. Using a%z"
diameter steel foundation rod I probed the exposed footing subgrade. Probing indicated stiff subgrade.
I observed varying amounts of standing water on the surface of the footing subgrade. I recommended that subgrade
be de-watered before pouring footings.
Based on our observation and probing, contingent on the de-watering of footing subgrade, areas observed today
and indicated on attach site plan have been prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical
recommendations.
