On September 2, 1987 an inspection was conducted at your property. the
put-pose was to ascertain what would be required to convert. the existing
residence to an office.
Insofar as the Building Depart.mcnt regulations apply, the following would be
rp(lu i red:
1 . Provide landings on each side of doorways . landings shall be not more
than 1 inch below threshold and a minimum of 3 feet wide by 8 feet long.
2 . Handrails shall be provided on all steps with two or more risers .
Handrails shall be between . to .84` inches above hosing of tread, having
ends raturn to wall or end at a post.
3 . The building address shall be posted on the exterior of the building.
4. A minimum of one 2A•-IOBC fire extinguisher shall be provided for the
building and be accessible to all occupants ,
5 The exit door locks shall be openab.te from inside without use of key or
special knowledge.
6. An inspection by this Department shall be nbtained fur the above
corrections prior to occupancy ,
