The deed restriction was placed because a basement area of the house was left unfinished when the house was constructed. The basement was to be finished within a two year period. For whatever reason, the owner(Mr. . Kirk Sellman) has not had an opportunity to complete the area. HL, has requested that the time for completion of the basement be extended. Since the etatus of the basement is of no more a hazard now as it was at the time of the restriction being placed, I see no reason the time for completion cannot be extended another two year period.
