TLe first 30 feet of the driveway is shared with Mike and Marcy Kroll our neighbors. They would be responsible for 1/2 of the driveway that is located on their property. We called both John Hageman and Bob Thompson regarding this driveway prior to the completion of our house. Both told us at that time the apron and sidewalk was necessary but to pave our entire driveway was not necessary. Using this to go by, we did not budget this amount in our construction loan or permanent loan. It is not possible for us to save enough money to complete the driveway in one year. We would need at least 2 years. But before we even agree to this time limit on paving the driveway, we feel that we need some signed agreement that either the Kroll's or Gene Remkeit will pave their properties at their expense at the same terms of our agreement with you. Also we would like to see a copy of the Tigard Municipal Code that requires all single family dwellings to have a minimum 10 foot wide paved (concrete or asphalt) driveway.
