The "In Lieu of Assessment" charge is placed on properties which desire to connect to the public sanitary sewer facilities, but do not have proof of participating in the extension or construction of any main line sanitary sewer. Proof of participation can be in the form of a letter from the developer of the sanitary sewer *main, which states a particular property had participated in the construction of the sanitary sewer. Proof could also be shown by a copy of a bill or an assessment or the property. Pleas: note, the waiver of the "In Lieu of Assessment" charge is not a waiver of the regular sewer permit fees.
