Dear Sir:
In response to your February letter:
i. I came to the City Hall the same day I received the letter and talked to a city
employee regarding it.
2. I have contacted the Building Division numerous times by phone and left phone
messages. No answers have been received to date.
3. Since the furnace for which the permit was issued (# MEC 92-0237) was
installed in October 1992, this seems a bit late for a final inspection.
4. The letter did not carry a signature. This is simply poor policy.
5. As a citizen who has worked as a volunteer for the City, I feel your approach to
a problem of your own creation is not being handled in a manner that would improve a
positive citizen/City relationship.
6. Furnace is available for inspection at your convenience. Please call me for a
time and date. (620-2682)

The last inspection conducted on this project was a mechanical inspection on
10//92. We have no record of any subsequent or final inspections for this
project.
Please advise the Building Division as to the stratus of this project within 15
days from the date of this letter. At that time, you may schedule the next
required inspection.
Please note that permits become void if there has not been an inspection
performci for over 180 days. In that case, the Building Division may require
a new application and fees to continue the work. Also, a notice of non-
compliance against the property may be recorded by the City. If you neeri
additional time to complete the project, please contact the Building Division
so that an extension can be discussed.
