The plans are approved subject to the following conditions: 1. 'Hand hails: Hand rail for the stairway system shall be pro- vided at not closer than 30 inches nor more than 34 inches above the nose of the stair treads. Hand grip portion of the hand rail shall not be less than 1-1/4 inches nor more than inches in cross-section. Hand rail shall project from the wall. with a space of not less than 1 1/2 inches.
