Dear Tom: Trip testing of the Automatic Sprinkler System for the south end of the warehouse covering the areas that are occupied by Sapolin Paints and Albertsons , Inc. v,ere successful on the second attempt. The first time the system was tripped, air pressure was 37 PSI , time to obtain water for the Inspector's test was one (1 ) minute, fifteen (15) seconds. The second test conducted; air pressure on sprinkler system was at 28 PSI , and it took one (1 ) minute and two (2) seconds to obtain water at this Inspector's test. Because of the time to receive water at the Inspector's test and because the dry pipe system exceeds the maximum area allowed by 2,000 sq. ft. in accordance with Phamphlet 13, no additional heads or piping may be added to this Sprinkler System from this time forth.
