DESIGN REVIEW 57-79 (Tigard United Methodist Church Parking Lot) APPLICANT: TIGARD METHODIS'P CHURCH OWNER: SAME 9845 SW Walnut Tigard, Oregon 97223 SITE LOCATION: 9845 SW Walnut, Tigard, Oregon (Wash. Co. Tax Map 2SI 2BD, Tax Lot 1600.) SITE; DESIGNATION: A-2. Conditional Use allowed ender R--7/R-15 Zone for Church. PARKING REQUIREMENTS: Church: One (1) space per six (6) fixed seats or twelve (121 feet of bench length and/or every one hundred (100) square feet from floor area. SITE PLAN AND DESIGN REVIEW: The applicant is proposing to construct a parking lot for the Church. Code requirements necessitate a total of one hundred fifty three (153) spaces rased on the square foot formula. However, based upon the fixed seats or bench formula, approximately eighty six (86) spaces, parking spaces are required. Spaces provided equal one hundred nineteen (119) . Landscaping needs co be addressed on the north property line. It is understood that Mr. Willard Nelson will attend to this detail. STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends _approval of the Site Plan and Design Review subject to the following conditions: 1. A revised parking lot plan be submitted showing actual measurements of bays and length between bays at twenty four (24) feet. 2. Actual computations be supplied for number of spaces required. Their computations to be verified by Ginther Engineering. 3. No changes will be made to approved plans or specifications unless formal application is made to the appropriate City department and changes are approved by that department. Application for changes will be made in writing and shall include applicable drawings . i 417-15, ZI-2— SRR it tyAA'1 Tc S. 1, A: v.is.9cfs TMC O F ONCn'Ni.'T/'• /L O if/1n/ oOF Ta sr/TrPif 2'• M/ 3oC'uffff flcn✓ ?lP3J G = 0. 70 __ow C3-L Tv Gni•'✓o_u.i TME o.,r lvc.vTit'io,✓ /I•SSSC /,6v1 2/z.S Z•3o '/ d. 5 Z .1fs Q: </►= o. 7n2.3o) A.St - d- 85 CFS Z - 79 Ifs/./ '4ro fivil/Qfli/ti s> i/i+•/ C/;vWCy A//4Z ttC f,sT/M/7 Tf/> ,91 yc FoLowi riG Jzvv>ia T• - S/rL .to, Py OF 7///r'Q (fE V/CIN/7y /17i'p.
