Dear Sir(s):
There is one item remaining to be completed for issuance of an Occupancy
Permit at the above referenced address.

A guardrail is required for the landing on the exterior side of the emergency
exit door (located on the front. of the building) . Because the landing is
12."-18" above the adjacent sidewalk, the guardrail is necessary to force a
person to turn into the adjacent planter area rather than have as severe trip
hazard off the landing.
This was to be completed shortly after the occupancy of the building, as of
this date the guardrail has not been installed.
This item must be completed before a certificate of occupancy can be issued.
Your prompt attention in this matter will be appreciated.

To Whom it May Concern:
It has been determired by the City of Tigard Building Department and
the Tualatin Rural Fire Protection District that the recently installed
security key locking devices, located on all exit doors, does not
comply with the requirements of the 1982 Uniform Building Code. How-
ever, in this particular case the local jurisdictions will allow this,
provided the following conditions are met:
1. No more than one other locking device is installed on any
door.
2. All doors are to be maintained unlocked during business h__.
3. should any building or fire inspector find any door locked during
business hours, the key locking system will be removed and
locking devices complying with tl.e Uniform Building Code will
be installed and maintained thereafter.
Periodic unannounced fire inspections will be conducted by Tualatin
Fire District inspectors and/or Tigard Building inspectors.
This letter, -is to be kept on file at both the Fire District and Tigard
