','lindo-ma to wood framing. Balcony railings to ,Wrought iron. Roofs to shake. Colors anti^i.pated are textured grays, golds, and driftwood.. All changes were in an attempt to soften even more the appearance of the exteriors against the hillside. The Committee approves these changes and reco!7nerds to the Council that the revised plans be approved, with all the conditions pertaining to the original acceptance to be met. The second order of business was the review and discussion of the plans for ^. proposed building by the Beni. Pranklin Corp. During this extended diaaussion it was evident that the members of the Committee were Very concerned about several aspects of the proposal. These included the heir;ht and overall apprear-- r-nce of the buildisiC; itself, and its compatability with the rest of the shopping area and the area ar a w'iole. It also included the traf:7ic flow and parking area., and the crowding of the land space. wt was finally decided that there night be factors concerning this proposal that the Committee was not azare of, and that further inrorm,^tion should be obtained s'rom the Shopping Center developers. It was noted that the density had been reduced from 32 to 29 units. That the alignment of the buildings had been improved. That the extra parkinn nlaces had been plr.rined On the upper level. That three buildings that kad been scheduled for trio stories plus basement apartment, were no-,,i two stories at around level and entrance from the upper level. The Committee feels that the developers have been very co-operative and are to be complimented on these plan improvements.
