The plan submitted are approved subject to the follwing changes or additions: 1) The plans show two r_estrooms. The men's restroom appears to have two toilets, one urinal and one lavatory. The women's restroom has two toilets, and one lavatory. The maximum occupancy accord- ing to your rivture number is 200. 2) The restroom doors must be self-closing. 3) The handwashing sinks in both restrooms must be equipped with dis- pensed soap and dispensed sanitar• towels. W. 69th was also inadvisable. Your parking lot drainage and stor.r:, sewer system was approved according to approved plans submitted by your engineer, Mr. Martin. Our inspection shows that this plan was not followed, therefore, occupancy of both Shakey ' s Pizza and Country Kitchen will be held up until satisfactory plans resolving the storm water problam have been furnished to City of Tigard for approval and work has been completed. Board discussed following primary concerns: a. access and parking for house would require backing onto a commercial street b. no minor, land partition has been applied for yet only 1/3 of site is provided for in site plans C. landscape plan does not identify existing plantings or the landscaping and maintenance of the ravine to the rear. 2. Moved (McMonagle) to deny (second Cook) with following conditions for resubmission and favorable consideration: a. parking be perpendicular to building or viequate back out and turning space be provided. b. take design and future use of entire site into con- sideration as much as possible C . move access to site to the west (center of lot) if feasible and provide joint access to house and shop (I. provide 10 '-15 ' additional fill at east end of lot to provide additional space for parking or turn building 90 degrees to parallel street. Motion carried by majority with Kelting opposed. D. Request by applicant for board to view the architectural plans for purpose of informal opinion on their admisability if site plan ok 'd subsequently.
