Please be advised that it is your responsibility to maintain -i—his property to avoid any likelihood of tire. Your cooperation in taking immediate action to prevent P virlation of the municipal code is appreciated. For your information, the applicable code provision reads as follows : 7.40.020 Noxious Vegetation. The owner, person in possession or agent of the owner of any lot, tract, or parcel of land, improved or unimproved, shall, during the months of May, June, July, August and September of each year, cur_ and remove, avid keep cut and removed therefrom and from the half of the street or streets abutting the property, all weedi,, thigtles, burdock, ferns and other noxious vegetation, and all grass more thin ten I inches in heigt.t. and all dead bushes, dead trees, stumps and any other thing likely to cause fire. Nothing herein contained shall be considerei to apply to bushes, trees, shrubbery and/or other vegetation grown for food, fuel or ornament or for the productioc of food, fuel or ornament, providing that the health and safety of the 3ublic be not thereby endangered by the maintenance of such growth or vegetation.
