Review of the material sent to me on the recycling distillation unit you
propose to use in recycling flammable and combustible liquids, 7 would like
to point out on Page 3 of the Operations and Installation Manual
approximately the middle of the page, "The area is the prime consideration
for safe installation. the unit is designed to operate in a National Fire
Protection Association Class 1 Division 2 Group D environment.". In your
particular case, I would advise that you contact a licensed electrical
Installer to give you advice as to what Class 1 Division 2 Group D pL.etains
to as specified to in the National Electric Cod?. As far as I can tell, this
unit should be within a flammable and comhisstible liquids mixing and
distribution room and well segregated from other operations by not less than
1-hour fire resistive construction, having automatic or self-closing doors.
Prior to .any construction or alternations of your buildings to comply with
this particular requirement, not less than 3 sets of plans shall be submitted
to Tigard Building Department for review and apptoval.

BRACES All terminal-posts on fence 6' and higher shall be braced with 1-5 8" Q.D.

truss braced from the first line post to the bottom of the terminal post, with
a 3;1" galvanized truss rod assembly, or V7 gauge galvanized wire twisted to

EXTENSION Hot dipped galvanized line post arms of pressed steel, end and corner post
ARIAS arms of malleable iron or pressed steel; gate posts to have ball top. Each arm
to carry 3 barbed wires approximately 12 inches above the fabric and approxi-
mately 12 Inches in or out from fence line, as desired. Vertical arms can also
be furnished.
FITTINGS Hot dip galvanized. All fittings to be malleable, cast iron or pressed steel.
BARBED WIRE Three lines of 4 point barbed wire, each composed of two 121/2 gauge wires,
galvanized after weaving.
FABRIC TIES 11 gauge galvanind wire ties or 6 gauge aluminum wire shall be used to tie
the fabric to the line posts and top rail.
