A street light district is in operation there, presently consisting of twenty 7000 lumen mercury vapor lights, twelve of which are mounted on 25' metal ornamental posts. Billirg for the luminaires is $3.25 per month each and $2. 15 each for the twelve posts. Monthly billing totals $90.80. It may be your intention to eventually absorb the lighting district into the city system. There is currently an amount of $1,247.40 owing the company that has built up during a period of time, of which I wanted you to be aware before any action is taken to transfer ,jurisaiction.
