Reference is made to our discussion of apl:roval of a
septic drain field installatiin !'or Lot # 4 of the
Del Monte Subdivision No. 1 located on 103rd St.
in Tigard.
i�t the time of the initial planning and layout of
:his tract y Lots 3, 4 r, and 6 w�el,e not ai proved
"or septic tanks by the Wash'ngton County Health
Department. However) during the course of the
development of the subdivisions significant iwprove-
ments were made in the drainage Irogram of the area
including s�orm urains in the new roadway, the and
elevation of lew areas with fill dirt from than road
project.
These im, rovernents were signii'icant enough that when
application was again made to the Wa. hin:_,ton County
Health Department in April of 1964 for reconsideration
of lots 5 and 6, approval was granted i'or spltic tank
installation.
Similar tiling rind improvewents to facilitate drainage
have ween accomplished t,) Lot # 4 incl udinL; ;_rovisi:)n for
intercepting surface water run-off from adjacent ground
to the north.
At this time , I would like to re-subunit this lot for al.,,-roval
for a septic tank installation. Inasmuch as we desire that
the future sewer system expansion encompass this lot wt would
,.repose that 1rovision for inclusiot: in and ho ,k-up o the
sewer be provided for in the deed on the property if this
seemed desirable to your office.
I will confer further with you on this mat er at an early
date .

to the Ulty of Tigard, I am requesting consideration be given
to the exten,3ion of the proposed sewer lines to serve this
and adjacent areas.
While it is generally true that the bulk of that area recently
annexed will await sewer service from the south or Tualatin
river facili. ,.1 development there is, in my opinion, a Iortion
of the tol Little Bull Mountain that can and shiuld be
served fro:., the north.
darlier this yf,ar, I ha:i been in touch with Mayor Kyle and
engineer Neigo in this regard. It was my impression that
they confirmed that 'his tract and the lands to the North
could be served by an extension of the sewer line hast
McDonald kvenue.
I would like to bring this request to your attention early
enough in the planing stages so that it might be a part of
your overall study.
I feel sure that action by the city to �-rovide services to
newly annexed areas will be most beneficial.
You may be sure we will cooperate with your study of such
a p14An in any way possible .
