Due to the heavy construction now taking place in the development , we request you accept the streets in their present status, and Commonwealth Properties, Inc . will post a $25,000 maintenance bond for one year. Since the curbs are being removed and d=iveways laid and other breaks in the curbs are being made for the placement of storm drains, an undue hardship would be placed on the developer to make all small repairs which are needed at this time as changes are taking place daily. A letter has been received by the City of Tigard .from the County Engineer that the County had approved the plans and supervised the construction of the streets . Commonwealth Properties will clean and repair the streets and bring them up to new cor-,ition no later than September 1 as we believe the major portion of the development will be completed on the residences by that time . We feel that this is a reasonable request inasmuch as we have prepared a bond which would replace all_ storm and sanitary sewers plus street construction. If this meets with your approval, we request that the streets be accepted and a letter sent_ to our office as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your cooperation. Very truly yours, EDWARD B.
