W. 116th Tigard, Or. 97223 Attn: Joe Leopold Subject: Addendum to Plovember 30, 1983 Letter Gentlemen: As per your reauest, we are submitting an addendum to our letter dated November 30, 1983, on Copper Creek Stage 3. Fill planed in Lots 75 and 76 was within the 20 foot set-back area of each lot. Plo fill was placed within the structural area of either lot. The structural area of Lot 76 is on relatively high, firm, undisturbed ground and should not nose any problems. Lot 75 has an old drainage swale runn�no throuah the center of it and some overexcavation is r'eemed necessary. The structural area of Lot 75 should be overexcavatcc to f`rm., undisturbed soil , and backfilled with a clean compacted four i,r.h minus diced rock. We would expect to use about a two foot lift under all 'ootings and a cap of approximately six inches of 3/4 inch minus over the four irch rock. Although there is a storm drain on the north end of Lot 75's structural area , we would recommend a perforated plastic pipe be placed beneath the four inch rock, following the natural contour of the around to the front of the lot. Considering that springs have been noted in virtually all of this area in the past, we feel that foundation drainage is a necessity anYwhere that a build- ing ir, located in a cut area, especially near breaks-in-slone.
