2.0 CONSTRUCTION
2.01 Glazing
The 4100"T' Series system shall ba glazed using the puttyless
method and shall employ the use of extruded saniprene
glazing gaskets to sandwich a standard 1" overall Insulated or
single-pane glass. For non-standard applications, overall
glazing can range from 1/8' to 1-1/8'.
2.02 Cap System
All exterior caps shall be extruded aluminum. The pressure
cap shall be attached by means of stainless or stallguard
screws at a maximum of 10" on center. A snap-on exterior
cover cap shall conceal the pressure cap and screws.
2.03 Waterproofing
Waterproofing shall be accompanied by means of continuous
saniprene glazing gaskets located Immediately above and
below the glass. At no point shall the glass come in contact
with the metal components. All support tubes have a
continuous gutter which drain by weep hnles located at all
junctions of horizontal and vertical members and at tho
bottom of the system to allow drainage to the exterior.
3.0 EXECUTION
3.01 Job Site Work
The 4100"T" Sories system shall be completely erected and
glazed by a subcontractor specifically approved by the
manufacturer.
3.02 Party Responsibility
It shall be the responsibility of the general contractor to
provide an opening which Is square, plumb, and level. It shall
be the responsibility of the approved party to measure tho
suitable opening.
3.03 Dissimilar Materials Protection
Contact points between aluminum and any other metallic
surface shall roceive a protective coating to prohibit any
corrosion or el, -olysis,

STATEMENT OF LIMITED WARRANTY
Custom Designed Systems inc., warrants to the original purchase oniv its
QndUjg and their oomponents as follows:
TERMS
CDS Inc., warrants the structure of it: System for a period of 5 year on
components and 10 years against structural failure. All requests for
warranty work must be accompanied by this form and/or a copy of the
original invoice. (Custom Designed Systems Inc. reserves the right to
inspect units prior to authorizing warranty work.)
Custom Designed Systems obligation Is not to install said unit or units,
but to replace the defective part F.O.B. the factory (Gladstone) or the
dealers warehouse from which the original sale was made.
Approved installer Is to warrant all glass and labor separate to Custom
Designed Systema warranty.
This warranty extends to, and is limited to, the original purchaser of CDS
Inc.
Any of the above or after mentioned actions voids all warranties.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND CARE OF THE CDS SYSTEM
Due to electrolysis, it is important that you do not attach any metal other
than aluminum or stainless steel to our products, unless metal Is treated.
You should contact us for questions on treatment.
Do not coat glass on the inside with any film tints or attach shading
devices; any closer than 2"from the glass. Installation of shading system
must bre approved by Custom Designed Systems.

Detailed assembly drawings of all members, corner construction and
hardware application have been compared to tho sample submitted and are
on file at the laboratory.
The results were secured by using the designated test methods and
they Indicate compliance with the performance requirements of the
referenced specification. This report does not constitute cettIfir_etlon
of this product.
This report Is the joint property of Quality Testing and the Tient
to whom It is issued. Permission to reproduce this report by anyone
other than Quality Testing and the Client must be granted In writing by
both of the above parties. This report may not be reproduced except in
its entirety. The results in this report are actual tested values and
are applicable to the sample teet.ed only, using the components and
construction methods described herein.
