RE: Tax Lot 1800, 11520 SW North Dakota, Tigard, Oregon
Dear Mr. Kalach,
The City of Tigard has received complaints from several neighbors of the
property at 11520 SW North Dakota concerning a bus on the property which is
apparently being used as a llvi.ng unit. It has been reported that the bus
contains a wood fired stove irhich could pose a serious health hazard if not
properly operated. Our records show that you are the owner of the property,
therefore, this letter shall serve s3 official notification that the bus must
be removed from the premises. Tigard does not allow the use of a
non--permanent structure as a residence in the City limits. In addition, the
,zoning for this property allows only one dwelling unit per lot. Therefore,
the mointainance of mc-re than one dwelling unit constitutesta violation r.f the
City zoning ordinance (Development Code Section 18.50.030). Other Building
Codes that may be in :solation are:
1. Unapproved sanitation condition:.
2„ Unapproved living areas.
Please be advised that you must take immediate steps to remove_ this
hazardous condition from the property. Failure to do so within ten days of
this tetter will result in issuance of a citation. The City intends to post
the property and pursue this matter througn the courts to cause removal of
this condition should you not take voluntary action.
