1988 editions of the Fire and Life safety Code (UBC) ,
Mechanical Fire z- 4 Life Safety Code (UMC) , Uniform Fire Code
(UFC) , and other gal ordinances and regulations.
Plans are conditionally approved as submitted subject to the

1 . Approved Plans on Jab Site: One set of approved plans
bearinq the stamps of the building department issuing
the construction permit and this uffice ,nu-t be
maintained on the project site throughout all phases of
construction and must be made available to building and
fire inspectors for reference during required

A fire and life safety plan review was conducted on the above captioned
project for compliance with the 1985 editions of the Uniform Building Code
(UAC) , Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC) , and the Uniform Fire Code (UFC) , as
1 amended by Washington County Fire District No. 1's Ordinance 86-1. ,
I . Lobby/Exit Corridor Doors; All doors opening into the lobby or exit
corridor must be of the required type as the building presently
exists.
2. Exit Door Hardware: All doors shown on the drawings must be openable
from the inside for immediate exit at all times without the use of a
key, special knowledge, or effort, (URC Sec, 3304)
3 . Sprinkler System; Per our conversation, on October. 4 , 1988, my
understanding is that tae sprinkler system will not be altered,
therefore sprinkler plans are not required.
4 . Approved Plans on Job Site: One set of approved plans bearing the
stamps of the Washington County Building Department and this office
1 must be maintained on the project site throughout all phases of
construction and must be made available to building and fire
