AN OP `INANCE CHANGING THE, NAMES OE' HART STREET AND TOLAND STREET TO
LIEN i Sf( STREET.
WHEREAS, a petition han been received requesting that the names of Hart
Street and Toland Street be changed to E3oniah Street; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission han recommended to the City Council
that the streot names be changed as requested by the petition; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with ORS 227 , 120, the City Council held a hearing
on the proposed name changes at the regular meeting of March 2.4, 1992;
and,
WHEREAS, notice of the hearing was given in the Tigard Times within the
week prior to the week in which the hearing was held; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that renaming of the streets as
recommended by the [Manning Commission is in the best interest of the
City in order to reduce confusion rind provide uniformity of Streec
nnminy.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 : The name of the street shown as SW Toland Street on the
plat of Morning Ni.l.l No. 6, as recorded at page 35 in
Book 66 of the plat records of Washington r'ounty, Oregon,
is hereby changed to SW Denish Street .
SECTION 2 : The names of the streets shown as SW Toland Street and SW
Hart Street on the plat of Morning Hill. No. 7, a,,
recorded at page 22 in Book 69 of the plat records of
Washington County, Oregon, are hereoy changed to SW
E3enish Street .
SECTION 3 : The City Recorder is hereb;- directed to file certified
copies of this ordinance with the County Clerk, the
Cuunty Assessor, and the Cour:ty Sut veyoi of Washington
Ccuunty .
