The purpose of the meeting was to determine if you could use a portion of the existing building for parking automobiles . The area reviewed was at the south west portion of the building. Thi'a area can be used as indicated, pi ,vided the remaining portion of the building is separated by a one-hour occupancy separation wall . The existing masonry block wall will comply, provided the holes in the are sealed, and openings for doors or windows are provided with one hoi!r fire rated, self-closing assemblies. A mechanical exhaust system must be provided that is capable of exhausting minimum .-)L. 1. .5 CFM per square foot of floor area. Barriers to the E)hysically handicapped, must be eliminated to a cost not to exceed 25% of the cost of the construction work done to the building. Handicap parking stalls shall be provided, at a minimum of two stalls for 26-50 parking stalls provided. The number of existing toilet facilities are adequate for up to 100 employees . Should you choose to utilize this building, and make alterations to it, you will be required to obtain a building permit.
