Friday, January 17, 1975: No progress during week.
We feel the following notes should be made:
1. That the builder should haul away the refuse and padding,
or reimburse us for the garbage disposal charge.
2. That the carpeting from the family room to the 1st floor
landing also be cleaned as mud has been tracked by the builder.
3. That our spare pieces of carpeting should be repl&ced, of similar
color, as they used them to so u the
P P water and to kneel. on.

B. 2 small. squares 3' x 3'
4. That our new scrubbing mop be replaced as it was ruined by the
builder moping u mud

5. That, henceforth, the builder cooperate by replacing our water
hose into the garage and to reconnect aur washing machine when
finished using the water.
Although the above mentioned notes may seem trivial in some
respects, it is a constant inconvenience to have our home disabled, coupled
with unnecessary thoughtlessness on the part of the builder. I find it
repulsive to come home after working all day, and have to clean up someone
else's lunch garbage found on our dryer and the garage floor; and mud
footprints throughout. Hoping this is resolved shortly,

City of Tieard Building InsDector comes to view situation.
Sueaests Derhans underground spring, no progress.
Wednesday, January 8, 1975:
Receive call. from Mr. Hallberg. He suggests the following:
1. Snonpe rug.
2. Pull up rug.
3. Remove wet Dad.
4. Mop floor.
5. Put down carpet & sponge.
6. Pick up carnet again.
7. Let dry and crack window 1./8".
Said they would bond the wall Friday 1-1-0-75. Results: We did as
he suggested. Gee found mud and water seeping through a crack running
alone right 1/3 of wall where floor and side wall Join.

Water again in the family room. nick Hallberg & helper show up.
They Datch the wall . At a depth of 4" to 6" belol#round level outside
the family room, they laid plastic, then slanted ground away from house
and RrnimA huildinR. Builder's suoeestion was not to cut too big of holes
for nlants. we are now waiting for the next big rain.
