To upgrade the seismic stability of the residence at 13430 Village
Glenn Court add the following connectors;
• Use custom plate 3/16x14"xlo", as applicable at 6' on center with
(5) SDS % x 1 1/2" @ 3" o.c. to sill plate and (2) %" diameter Hilti TZ
anchors @ 8" o.c., with a minimum embedment of 3 1/2" to the
foundation wall.
• Connect sill plate to rim joist with Simpson "HGA1o" at 6' on
center.
Alternate
• Use Hilti HY 200 with a minimum embedment of 4" in place of the
Hilti TZ anchors. Engineer does not require special inspection of
the epoxy installation.
