Purpose: Observe Lot 46 Subgrade
Outstanding Issues:
Upon arrival, I observed crews had excavated Lot 46 to planned subgrade elevation. Subgrade consisted of brown
silt and clay trace sand with occasional cobbles. I used a%2"diameter steel foundation probe to evaluate subgrade,
Resistance to penetration indicates stiff to very-stiff subgrade conditions.
Based on our observations and probing, Lot 46 subgrade as observed today has been prepared in general
accordance with the plans and our geotechnical recommendations.
