spacer strip being installed behind the deck ledger as shown on the attached MA-12 detail.
The attached MA-12 detail is approved by Milbrandt Architects to be used for the deck ledger
installation on the River Terrace project.

This bulletin provides response to RFI, design clarifications and/or variation requests for the `River
Terrace' project located in Tigard, Oregon.
Based on our review of Bulletin MA-12 (Deck to Wall Flashing—Spaced Decking), this is an
acceptable deck connection detail provided the fasteners attaching the ledger to the structure have
the required penetration to the rim/blocking per the structural deck details.
