To whom it may concern,
An additional structural design concern has been raised by Miller Consulting
Engineers. The City of Tigard has now requested that Miller Consulting review
the structural design of the entire building above the foundation. There is still
some discrepancy about whether there is any floor or offices in the central
corner of the shell. Some cross sections show joist while the plan view indicates
open to below. The owner thought there were supposed to be some offices in
the central corner. Miller Consulting projects to have their review done by
midweek of the first week of May and you should receive a complete plan review
letter.

Dear Ed,
Thank you for attending the meeting with Brian Blailock and the consulting engineer front Miller's
Engineering. I ani very disappointed that Harris did not give me a straight answer on when I could expect
to have the proper calculations sent to the City of Tigard. Because of his inadequate submittals,my plans
have been on hold by the City of Tigard. Your company has been paid k the plans that lack details and
proper calculations. The City of Tigard officials are appalled and frustrated(as so am 1),and are prepared
to close the doors on my permit. My financial loss to this point is dose to$500,040,which will grow if
my plans are stopped by the City. T demand that you hire another engineer who will submit to the City of
Tigard the City's required calculations,on or before April 21,2006. If you fad to do this by April 21 or
the City again rejects your moons,I will hire a firm and backcbarge you for all fees to finish the
calculations and,at my discretion,assert claims for my losses caused by you. Tbaak you far your
cooperation.
