The effects of live load reduction, however, will be considered in theEnd Reactions,Shear Results, and Bending Results spreadsheets,as they do reduce the load when calculating maximum end reactions, shear, and bending stresses/forces.However,the effects of live load reduction are NOT considered in .. I calculations. Therefore, the deflection with a reduced live load is DL+LL reduced +11111111111c0.199"=0.472".Ratio the deflection up by 10.75'analysis width/8.75'actual width--> 1.23x0.472=0.58" • L/360=23.123x12/360=0.77" Actual deflection is code compliant.By inspection, shear and bending DCRs for 8.75'width<1.0, therefore GI-8 3/4 x 24 beam is adequate. • RISAFloor Version 9.0.0
