Excused: Adam Stack,Tyler Nickla
Staff- Kent Wyatt, Councilor Henderson

3. MINUTES
Approved minutes from December 3 meeting.
4. OLD BUSINESS:
Reviewed the application for the DC Trip to the National League of Cities Conference. We agreed that
seniors were allowed to apply. We also agreed that two of the four spots would be awarded to council
members. The other two spots would be open Agreed on letting everyone on the Council apply.
Received a briefing on the Gala. Council agreed to push back the date of the event. Discussed making the
cause for the Gala Entrepreneurship and Leadership with the theme "Dinner at the White House."
Approved Avonlea as the Youth Spotlight for November.
Approved Meredith Erickson as the Youth Spotlight for December.
Approved Grace Cruickshank as the Youth Spotlight for the year 2015.
5. NEW BUSINESS:
Brainstormed future speakers. Agreed that Steve Bintliff would be a good speaker.
6. ADJOURN
This meeting was adjourned at 6:06 p.m.
