On 4/23/15, your applications for a sign permit and a building permit for the replacement of a sign at this location was received. The sign permit was taken in but never created as they required a signature on the application from the property owner. The building permit was created that day and routed for plan review. On 4/30/15, the plans examiner left a phone message with you requesting an engineer's stamp for the plans. I am not sure of the exact date, but the planning department returned all of the application materials for the sign permit. Since no sign permit has been created or approved, we will not be able to issue the building permit, even if we receive the engineer's stamp. If, after 6 months from the received date, 4/23/15, there is not an approved sign permit issued by the planning department, we will void this building permit and invoice you for the plan review fees. Staff conducted an initial review of the materials on April 23, 2015, and determined that the applications were incomplete, as they did not include the property owner's signature or written verification. In addition, staff determined that two (2) of the proposed signs (menu board and digital order screen) do not require Planning Division permits. Enclosed are the original sign permit applications and related materials. As of May 28, 2015, the Planning Division has not yet received property owner. verification.
