The system consists of two levels for mounting and securing the process equipment. Provision is made for an access platform and stair to be added on the west side in future. The support structure is to be a shop-welded fabrication consisting of two separate frames. The structure will be supported on the existing 10" thick doubly reinforced mat slab, with extension provided to pick up the three westernmost columns. The lateral load resisting system is comprised of steel ordinary moment resisting frames in the North- South direction, and steel ordinary concentrically braced frames in the East-West direction.
