Tigard, OR. 97224 Re.: Kitchen Wall AUG 4 2015 Personal Residence CITY OF TIGARD Job#15-256 BUILDING DIVISION Dear Sandra, At your request we visited the above named site for a review of the bearing walls on your proposed "kitchen remodel". This work is to involve two walls, as shown on the attached drawing. We found that both of the two walls in question were non-bearing walls. The removal of the non-bearing walls can be done without any structural provisions. However, The removal of the wall that will support the kitchen ceiling will require the installation of a beam and two posts. It will also require the verification of footings in the crawl space. If there are no footings then the footing size to be installed is shown on the attached sheets. The attached drawings are for the intent of showing the location of the new beam and posts only. They are not the remodel drawings,to be supplied by others. If you have any questions please feel free in calling me.
